About you

About this role
As one of the founding members of the newly-formed Vietnam team in Udemy, you will spearhead the content strategy and oversee the course acquisition operations for Vietnam, working in collaboration with the team in San Francisco and our local partner. You will be responsible for ensuring a sustainable growth of high-quality Vietnam course content for both individual and business learners, to drive revenue growth for the business. This is a full-time position, based in Vietnam.
What you'll be doing:
- Establish strategy for our content efforts in Vietnam, including but not limited to determining the priority areas, optimal channel mix for course acquisition and instructor marketing, based on overall team direction
- Develop a deep understanding of the Vietnam market requirements (for both individual and business users), culture and competitive landscape
- Develop and execute new initiatives based on market requirements to meet content goals
- Execute and oversee content operations, including but not limited to instructor partnerships, running course creation campaigns
- Analyze and present course data to understand the performance of course collection
- Responsible for content related metrics, including maintaining a pipeline of new courses and will work closely with our partner, FUNiX, on all aspects of content, from strategy to execution, and acting as a point person to facilitate communication between FUNiX and Udemy on content
What you’ll have:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in content strategy, acquisition, sales or business development; experience with tech content a plus
- Amazing client management, business communication and relationship building skills
- Strong communication and messaging skills with internal stakeholders and with instructors and partners
- Experience managing complex projects, meeting deadlines and handling several projects at a time with a high attention to detail
- Strong track record of exceeding goals and high achievement; self-directed and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be fluent in Vietnamese and have business level English proficiency
