Job Description:
Responsibilities
The CQS works directly with the Component Quality Engineers (CQE’s) and Engineering Technicians to ensure that components are inspected and tested in accordance with various internal and external inspection standards to confirm the authenticity and condition of the components being inspected. The CQS utilizes various pieces of equipment and gathers data based on the inspection process to verify all aspects of electronic components conditions for fit, form and functionality. The CQS utilizes all the data gathered during the inspection process and makes recommendations on the parts condition and overall status.
Accountabilities
- Inspects and tests components in accordance with documented internal forms and procedures.
- Creatively gathers, analyzes, interprets, and utilizes manufacturers and other specification sheets in order to complete the physical inspection of the components and draw conclusions as to the component condition.
- Provides test results to the proper personnel and teams accurately in written and verbal fashion as required
- Takes digital images of components as required.
- Communicates with other team members to draw conclusions and make decisions.
- Provides Engineering Technicians with direction to help complete the inspection process.
- Works in accordance with ISO and ESD procedures as well as others.

- Ensures decisions are guided by established policies and procedures and receives guidance and oversight from manager
- Excellent communication skills with all team members in a supportive role
Experience / Education
Typically requires a 4 year degree and 1–2 years of experience or a 2 year degree and equivalent related experience
