HomeAdvisor is currently looking for a smart, motivated, and energetic Voice Administrator to join our Telephony team to help support and maintain our telephony platform. We're looking for someone who understands VoIP systems, but who may have had some exposure to open source PBXs like Asterisk.

Job Responsibilities:
- Voice Administrator will enhance support of technical operations, by ensuring configuration, security, maintainability, and reliability of HomeAdvisor’s mixed telephony environment.
- Tier II troubleshooting of VoIP and analog voice quality issues, as well as support for Tier I daily modifications and changes to Telephony systems.
- Ensure proper operation of HomeAdvisor’s call recording and enhanced dialing systems through proper configuration, monitoring, and feedback to development.
- Maintain and monitor voice trunks of VoIP and Analog technology.
- Provide support for remote users and remote offices who may be using desk phones or softphones, as well as primary contact for afterhours support.
- Opening and monitoring of support tickets with Telephony vendors.

Experience and Skills:

- Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with call center operations, and general PBX administrations; IVR usage, Call distribution, Time-of-day and Holiday routing
- Familiarity with SIP, DHCP, VLAN, QOS and RTP
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple support tickets or project tasks
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting
- Strong customer service skills

Additional Skills:
- 1-2 years of Avaya experience a plus
-DB (SQL, MySQL experience) a plus
-Knowledge of open source call platforms
-Familiarity with Dial Plans, Gateways and H.323 configurations
