Transportation Specialist I - Quality Analyst
GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Communicate information regarding the resolution of client issues dealing with transportation pickups, claims, and incorrect receiving of assets at a processing plant to management.
- Maintain and follow company guidelines and instructions for the successful resolution of issues pertaining to client concerns or complaints, claims, and transportation related exceptions to the standard process
- Assist in streamlining current processes and procedures surrounding client complaints, claims, and receiving issues “Receiving Exceptions”.
- Identify gaps in documentation and work with internal stakeholders to remedy.
- Ensure internal Transportation process documentation is correct and in compliance with requirements.
- Create, track, and maintain reporting for client complaints, claims, and receiving issues from “Receiving Exceptions”.
- Audit 3rd party facilities to ensure security standards are in compliance with TAPA standards.
- Other general duties and special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- College degree or high school with technical training and equivalent experience. 0-2 years with college degree; 5-7 years with high school diploma
- Work with all levels of management, verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Excel specifically: V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Merging of Cells, Conditional Formatting, etc.
- Experience in training and communicating processes.
- Transportation industry knowledge with an emphasis on 3rd party Carriers
- Experience in audit process and procedures
