Technical Operations Engineer

We are seeking a talented Technical Operations Engineer who can contribute brilliantly to our team. You’ll be working in a fast-paced but casual environment with highly talented peers. We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to work closely with our Supply, Demand and Engineering teams. You’ll be a part of a growing team so you’ll need to be versatile and enjoy taking on new challenges.

- Utilizing your strong customer service and communication skills
- Analyzing client issues
- Developing and organizing support documentation
- Recommend new initiatives to improve client success
- Build tools
- Manage both technical and business constituents
- Assist the rest of Operations with technical inquiries
- Flexible personality - must be willing to handle additional responsibilities as assigned or required
Needed SpotX’er talents:
- Understanding or experience with HTML, CSS, XML
- Ability to translate technical details to any audience
- Experience in analyzing issues, distilling and communicating their relevant aspects
- Ability to triage, prioritize, categorize, and resolve production impacting incidents
- Knowledge of ad servers, DSPs, ad exchanges, and SSPs
- 2-4 years in a technical support role
- AdTech experience preferred
- Desire to learn new technologies and apply that knowledge on a daily basis
- Strong troubleshooting skills and methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving/analytical skills, initiative, eagerness to learn, and ability to work independently within a team structure
Bonus SpotX’er talents:
- Understanding of VAST and VPAID technologies
- Knowledge of scripting languages
- Understanding of JavaScript, PHP, HTTP, cookies, REST, SAML, SOAP, etc
- Understanding of Charles, Firebug, HTTP Live Headers, Fiddler
- Understanding of SQL
