The systems administrator will join Webroot’s Broomfield, CO, location as a junior member of a more tenured team. Your primary tasks will be operations monitoring and troubleshooting. You will also be afforded the opportunity to have back-up support and mentorship at a higher level. This means that your communication skills and multi-tasking abilities will be vital. We don’t need someone who knows everything, but we do need someone who brings a good foundation of systems knowledge to the table and, more importantly, knows when and how to ask for support when needed. The right candidates will have a combination the following skills:

• Experience supporting Windows systems OR Linux systems
  • If Windows is primary, experience supporting Active Directory is essential. (command line programs, batch files, and scripts are ideal)
  • If Linux is primary, experience with the command line is essential.  (basic LAMP configuration and support is ideal)
• Experience in an environment requiring support of a high volume of trouble tickets
• Working knowledge of common services such as: DNS, SMTP, DHCP, HTTP, etc.
• VMware experience is highly desired
• Reliability, customer services qualities, and ability to respond in pressure situations are essential attributes
