We need you to help create first-class web and mobile applications for our users. In this position you’re helping to lay the ground work for the next generation of the Motili platform, you need good communication skills, an attention to detail and the development chops to realize the Motili vision! We’re growing quickly so you need to learn fast on your feet and be excited about taking on new responsibility.  

THE DAY TO DAY

• Writing test cases with a focus on details, great quality, and continuous delivery.
• Testing, debugging, defect writing and managing, troubleshooting software applications.
• Researching new technologies and incorporating them into new testing processes and testing approaches.
• Participating in automation test case writing.
• Being a part of a passionate and collaborative team focused on challenging each other to be better.
• Communicating! (your status, blockers your faced with, the latest cat videos…)

REQUIREMENTS FOR CRUSHING IT

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related field) OR equivalent experience.
• 3-4 years of testing experience
• Good understanding of QA processes
• Understanding of the Agile development lifecycle (SCRUM, Kanban, etc.)
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (Jira preferred)
• Advanced SQL knowledge
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• You are a natural problem solver, have an inquisitive personality, and enjoy the challenge of big problems.
• You have excellent written and oral communication skills and enjoy working as a part of a team to accomplish goals.
• You are excited by the flexibility and dynamic nature of a startup environment.

BOOM! BONUS POINTS FOR

• Experience in automation test case writing using Selenium Webdriver ( JavaScript, TypeScript, Protractor  can be a benefit)
• Mobile testing and mobile automation experience (Android/IOS)
• SQL development experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
