We’ve built out a host of tools for our student media members, and our technology is the easiest, fastest and most cost-efficient way for national brands to access the 20M millennials that live, eat, sleep, work, and play on campus. We currently have $2b of unique inventory that generates 5b monthly impressions.

We’re a Techstars company backed by the founders of CP+B, SpotX, and AOL. Big brands like Nintendo, Trojan, Jimmy John’s, Adult Swim, Dr Pepper, the Peace Corps, NCAA, L.L.Bean, Chacos, etc. rely on flytedesk to access the college audience.

Job Description

flytedesk is looking for a driven and passionate person to join our publisher development team in Boulder, CO. Currently, nearly 500 student media organizations are flytedesk members, and that number continues to grow every day. They rely on us to bring them national advertising revenue, to continue to innovate and build new technology, and to be thought leaders in the space.

Your primary responsibilities include working directly with the VP of Growth and Director of Publisher Development to develop deep relationships with our members. You’ll ensure national campaigns are executed perfectly, help us continue to enhance our member experience, recruit new members, assist in sales operations, and more. 

The right candidate is also passionate about flytedesk’s mission to support college media and has spent time immersed in their own college media organization. They will bring in new complementary skills to eventually lead a portion of the publisher development team – whether that be marketing, sales, data/data management, operations, or something else. There is a lot of room to grow in this position.

 Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Independent, willing to figure out anything and able to operate with ambiguity
  • Detail-oriented
  • Able to process and prioritize an impossibly long to do list
  • Open to feedback, striving for continuous improvement
  • Prior startup experience a plus!
  • Technology: Excel, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Trello, Slack, basic Photoshop and InDesign

The Fine Print

  • $35k annual salary, DOE + stock options
  • This is a full-time position
  • This position is based out of our downtown Boulder office
  • Starting asap (December grads also considered)
