Summary/Objective:

                To ensure on-time payment of new businesses and individuals that are derived through Inside Sales efforts.  This will be accomplished by properly receiving, running, and analyzing business credits to make an educated decision on providing the business with direct bill terms.  This position will oversee both TH and HE credit applications.  Additionally, this position will be responsible for escalating payment issue through collection efforts and/or being the point person for evictions.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Process and evaluate credit applications for new clients.
  • Create invoices and process payments for business credit applications.
  • Process move in payments daily.
  • Process and apply payments for all recurring credit card clients.
  • Collection of past due monthly credit card clients.
  • Post late notices for clients whom payment has not been received within preset parameters.
  • Ensure eviction policy is upheld and initiate evictions if needed with attorney or outside counsel.
  • Monitor client portfolio for credit risk and escalate as required.
  • Portfolio monitoring and semi-annual review of medium to high risk clients for continuance of credit or reduction of credit limit.
  • Evaluation of current client portfolio on annual basis.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

 

Competency:

  • Ability to analyze and create business cases for best practices that are in line with company goals.
  • 3-5 years of credit analyst experience which must include proficiency in review and interpretation of client financials.
  • 3-5 years of business-to-business collections experience.
  • Working knowledge or experience of cash applications preferred.
  • Excellent verbal AND written communication skills in all forms – client interaction, email, business case
  • Analytical mindset to solve complex problems through development of sound business case.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit to support business growth while maintaining financial discipline.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to manage internal and external clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

 

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
