About the Department
The Asset, Change, & Telecom Management team works to help DigitalGlobe reduce risks and costs to the business through accurate and timely management of hardware and software assets, managing and improving the enterprise change process, and managing billing and tracking of telecom and network circuit assets.
Job Summary
The position of Asset Compliance Specialist is responsible for enabling the reduction of risks and avoidance of additional costs to DigitalGlobe by supporting asset management and change compliance with corporate policy, governmental regulations, and industry standards. This role will review and evaluate asset-related data and documentation to determine appropriate course of action within DigitalGlobe guidelines and process. This position will work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization to build positive working relationships.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze, and monitor asset data, including internal software license audits, to ensure adherence to corporate requirements, regulatory compliance, and license agreements.
- Review End User License Agreements to understand software licensing requirements.
- Update asset records to ensure fixed assets are appropriately tied to the financial tracking.
- Analyze data and produce team and operational metrics and report on customer SLAs and Operational Metrics.
- Maintain accurate and timely audit data.
- Provide high level of customer focus with in all areas of asset, change, and telecom management
- Support Asset, Change, and Telecom management team with all compliance efforts for ISO 27001, ISO 9001, and Sarbanes Oxley
- Provide back-up for the Telecom and Asset Management Specialists.
- Perform additional asset, change, and telecom management tasks as needed.
Requirements
Competencies
- Ability to assess and solve complex problems, devise methodologies and solutions, and perform analyses.
- 2 years of experience with software asset management (SAM)
- 1 year of auditing experience
- Software licensing experience a plus.
- Proficient PC skills, Excel, Word and SharePoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to clearly and concisely form and express ideas and concepts.
- Process improvement champion and advocate of change
