Recess is back! Because Adulting is Hard.

 

Remember recess? 

 

Remember that feeling of being let out the classroom doors to PLAY?!? And remember how important play was for your creativity and for your energy? 

 

Just saying the word recess puts a smile on everyone’s face because it was a time of pure joy and balance. However, as adults it has been replaced by the coffee break, the stretch, and for the most enlightened, a walk around the block. But nothing really replaces RECESS. A time when we put our left brains away, and took in the fresh air. Where we teased, and laughed, and RAN, and dodged balls, and hopscotched and took a BREAK.

 

The Colorado American Marketing Association is bringing back RECESS with an event built to inspire and remind us how to really once again play and create and move. On Wednesday, put your left brain to rest and learn how the best and brightest find creativity outside the cubicle. 

 

Join William Espey the Brand Voice of Chipotle and eight other amazing speakers — including Ashara Ekundayo of Impact Hub Oakland, grammy-nominated DJ Cavem and award-winning contemporary artist Chad Person as they take the stage on Wednesday night at the Denver Art Museum.
