MapQuest rebrands and remodels

Denver-based MapQuest is rebranding and changing up their website in an effort to stay relevant (or become relevant again) in the online mapping marketplace. The newly upgraded service features things like the availability of Uber cars and the locations of Car2Go vehicles. ReadyTalk Unveils FoxDen Platform

Denver-based ReadyTalk unveiled their new FoxDen collaboration platform this week. The new platform gives users access to high-quality video and audio communications tools, and works in a Chrome browser or on Android and iOS devices. California company acquires Channelinsight

The California-based company Model N is buying Denver-based Channelinsight. The terms of the deal have not been disclosed, but the deal should be completed by the end of the year. Channel insight has 50 employees based in Denver, and Model N plans to increase that number by 12. [California company to buy Denver sales-software business, Denver Business Journals]

 

Swiftpage raises $2.5 million

Swiftpage opened their funding round on September 25th, and managed to hit its $2.5 million target by October 14th. The company has been growing rapidly recently, and according to Inc., the company has $49.8 million in revenue last year. [Software firm quickly raises $2.5M, Business Den]

 

Techstars launches offices in Minneapolis

Boulder-based Techstars opened their first retail accelerator out of Target’s headquarters in Minneapolis. The Techstars Retail Accelerator will be a 13-week program that begins operating in early 2016. [Boulder’s Techstars to launch offices in Target HQ, Daily Camera]

 

Techstars also launches Techstars Healthcare Accelerator in West Hollywood

It's been a busy week for Techstars. In addition to their partnership in Minneapolis, they also joined forces with Cedars-Sinai in West Hollywood to launch their Techstars Healthcare Accelerator.
