The Foundry Group is starting a 5th investment fund

The Foundry Group, a Boulder-based venture capital firm, is raising $225 million to fund a fifth investment fund. Obama’s proposed new overtime rule could affect startup employees

The new rule would make as many as 5 million more Americans, 80 thousand of which live in Colorado, eligible for overtime pay. In essence, the rule change raises the income threshold for those eligible to make overtime to $50,440 a year. [Built in Colorado]

Denver gets another booze delivery service

Colorado is getting yet another booze delivery service. Yup, Liquor Limo announced it was starting delivery service in 14 Colorado cities. Competing services like Minibar started delivery in Colorado earlier this month, and Drizly has been around for almost a year. God help your liver. Uber bought some Bing operations and data centers in Boulder

The ride-sharing company Uber bought some of Microsoft’s Bing division -- some of which was located in Boulder. A 50-person office in Boulder and a data center in Longmont were part of the deal.
