About This Workshop

Going it alone in the job search can be a scary process, especially if it has been a while since you’ve dove into the process. In today’s competitive Denver market, it is crucial to stand out in the right way to potential employers and connections and this boot camp will set you up for success in your professional presence both on and off the web.

In this 5-hour boot camp, we will cover the three major fundamentals of creating a compelling resume and stellar LinkedIn, which will cover branding, content development, and the how-to of developing a superstar LinkedIn profile.

We will start by reviewing the importance of a brand statement and how it helps market you to potential employers and networks. We will discuss the tools needed to build a strong brand and how to weave it both into your LinkedIn and resume. Following that, we will cover the fundamentals of a strong resume, how to develop compelling content, and common wins and pitfalls in resumes. Finally, we will take the content of the first two sections and weave it all into a fantastic LinkedIn profile so that you have the right professional presence in your job search!

Each section will have activities that will help shape your content and thought process as we work through each of these important areas. There will be some pre-work that will help set the stage for effective and efficient work sessions. For each section, there will be activities and a live-work session on each of these major themes.
