We are looking for a well-rounded web developer with 5+ years of experience in web development and well rounded with client communication. The focus will be on LAMP development, backend PHP code and WordPress. This role includes helping define project requirements, reviewing code and adhering to/defining best practice. Must have the ability to build trust with client and confidence in being client facing.
Developers work independently and in collaboration with other developers and managers to innovate and create web applications.
This role may also include work within email development and email/marketing automation tools.
Qualifications:
- Highly competent with CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and HTML
- Experience with Twitter Bootstrap, Responsive Web Development, and WordPress
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Experience coding cross-client, responsive HTML emails
- 5+ years of experience in web development
- Strong coding skills
- Strong client-facing skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
Preferred knowledge/skills:
- Systems Administration, Plesk, cPanel, etc.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms
- Ability to collaborate with account teams, designers and developers
- Familiarity with the command line (Git, SSH, etc.)
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Photoshop
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with CSS pre-processors
- Familiarity with build tools
