We are looking for a VP of Engineering who will lead a team of world-class engineers at an exciting autonomous technology company. This person will drive development efforts that combine complex hardware, state-of-the-art AI and robotics software, as well as a high-reliability service. They must be a high-performance leader able to deliver to challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Agree development targets / roadmap with key stakeholders.
• Deliver product & features on schedule through leadership of the product development process and organization.
• Ensure requirements are clear, balance workload through task assignment, and improve lightweight processes that empower the team to deliver.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate activities of the software, mechanical, and electrical engineering teams.
• Drive schedule, identify and resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and delays
• Ensure smooth handoff of product & new features to Ops, Sales & Supply Chain teamsInsist on quality through development best practices and a testing mentality.
