We’re a fast growing startup looking for a Part-Time Staff Accountant to help us stay on track.

What you'll do:

• Create and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in a timely and accurate manner
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax law, including federal and state income tax, sales and use tax, and franchise tax
• Build and maintain a high-performance financial operations function, including A/P, billing, and collections
• Establish and maintain an annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Create monthly variance reporting and work closely with leaders to help them meet or exceed plans
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

What you have:

• Over 5-10 years of relevant experience
• Your CPA
• A passion for equipping people with financial knowledge to make smart business decisions
• Experience with high growth start-ups
• A drive to continuously improve systems, processes, and procedures in a way that speeds up execution, not slows it down
• Phenomenal communication skills and the ability to boil down complex financial speak to normal talk
