We are looking for an energetic, strategic self-starter that can advance Convercent’s leadership position in the market through event marketing.

We are seeking a Sr. Manager, Events Marketing reporting into the Chief Marketing Officer who will be responsible for Convercent’s global event marketing.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working with the CMO, responsible for creating and executing Convercent’s worldwide event plan. Plan includes industry trade shows, conference, Convercent round table events, our annual CONVERGE conference and internal company events.
  • Providing leadership and guidance to event marketing manager who reports into this position.
  • Manage all logistics required to execute on trade shows.
  • Manage and execute the Convercent roundtable events.
  • Responsible for overall planning and management of Convercent’s annual Converge customer conference.
  • Create annual budget recommendations and manage the worldwide event budget.
  • Manages all external vendors to produce the Convercent events
  • Responsible for recommendation, selection, and overall design of the Convercent booth.
  • Make recommendations and manages all Convercent give-aways.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Must be a strategic, creative thinker with the ability to understand Convercent’s goals and market position and advance them through events
  • Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to excellence in a hands-off management environment.
  • 25% travel required.
  • Minimum of 10 years in event management for a B2B SaaS company.
  • Experience in planning and executing different types of events including industry trade shows, 1-1 executive conferences, field marketing roundtable events, customer events, sales club events and internal events.
  • Strong attention to logistical detail to ensure that all events are executed flawlessly.
  • Ability to lead internal and external teams to ensure messaging, demos, and workers at Convercent events reinforces the quality of the Convercent brand.
  • Have a very strong sense of style and design.
  • Love logistics.
  • A “can-do” attitude with a relentless obsession for quality, risk, and trying new things.
  • You don’t wait for others and are willing to move quickly with skilled and tactical execution.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at handling multiple concurrent projects.
