About Us

At SimplePractice, our team is dedicated to improving the health and wellness industry by building a suite of innovative solutions for practitioners and their clients. Our product supports practitioners on their clinical journey to becoming licensed, helps them manage their business and practice once they’re up and running, and enables new clients to discover and interact with practitioners. Taking a practitioner-first approach in everything we do makes it possible for health and wellness practitioners to devote more time to their clients while they use SimplePractice to start, grow, and maintain a successful private practice.

The Role

We're seeking a full-time Senior Content Designer to join our team, building products that help private practices manage client billing and payments. This is a user experience and product writing role—not a copywriting, content marketing, or technical writing position. At SimplePractice, content designers:

  • Use language and design thinking to solve complex problems
  • Make our products easier to navigate and more effective for our customers
  • Advocate for user needs and drive business value

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to long-term strategy for the client billing side of our Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) product suite
  • Partner with product design, product management, and engineering to redesign core client billing workflows to fit customer mental models, address client needs, and support business goals
  • Partner with product design, product management, and engineering to launch new payments features that drive adoption at scale
  • Leverage research findings, data insights, and customer feedback to create clear, concise information experiences that help product users reach their goals
  • Align with design system, marketing, and customer success teams to create a consistent experience throughout the user journey that meets a high bar for product quality

Desired Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a content designer, UX writer, or product content strategist
  • Strong UX skills, with work samples that highlight problems you helped solve, your contributions, and customer impact
  • Experience working on financial products
  • Experience collaborating in Figma or similar design tools
  • Experience leading complex projects with minimal direction

Base Compensation Range

$115,000 - $140,000 annually

Base salary is one component of total compensation. Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.

The above represents the expected base compensation range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we’ll consider many factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
