As Vice President, Product Management, you have full accountability for every aspect of product management including planning, finance, resources, and operations for growing the core experience and growth of users for our data-driven, consumer-facing website. You develop strategies that directly support the President’s strategic, financial, and operational goals.

 

What you will do:

  • Guide people leadership for the business unit with particular focus on setting business unit strategy and figuring out necessary headcount and salary expense required to achieve objectives
  • Responsible for ensuring business unit leadership team is effectively demonstrating Healthgrades' values and following all company policies and programs
  • Manage performance, with the authority to hire and terminate employees, and make compensation recommendations for directors, managers, supervisors, and individual contributors
  • Lead and define product strategy and vision including aligning pricing, marketing, and product offerings with Healthgrades’ sales, growth, and client satisfaction objectives
  • Approve, fund, and resource product development
  • Lead the development, testing, branding, and implementation of products, solutions, and services
  • Work alongside internal partners including sales, client engagement, production, and marketing to build value and coordinate product delivery
  • Organize the development of responses to RFPs and presentations to prospective customers, current clients, and industry organizations
  • Report on product financial and operational performance to executive leaders
  • Provide guidance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership on industry movements and trends, impact of industry initiatives, and effectiveness of current company programs
  • Lead the sharing of subject matter expertise with internal partners to improve existing deliverables and build new products
  • Serve as subject matter expert and respond to external partners’ requests and inquiries related to company products
  • Represent the company at industry and client events
  • Develop and lead the overall product research and development roadmap
  • Develop and communicate understanding of target customers and their business needs
  • Identify and communicate insights that lead to the development of innovative products and product enhancements
  • Expand Healthgrades' capacity, capabilities, and opportunities to develop customer-focused products, solutions, and services
  • Lead data analysis and presentation of findings and insights to executive leadership and product teams

 

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in product management
  • 5+ years’ of people management experience, including managing, training, and mentoring product managers and other subject matter experts on processes, policies, standards, and performance metrics
  • Ability to develop business unit strategy to then craft and implement short and long-term action plans to achieve objectives
  • Experience synthesizing multiple analyses into consistent, reliable information that business leaders can use to take action
  • Ability to influence leaders and employees across multiple business units
  • Time management and prioritization skills to complete tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate and model Healthgrades' values while performing job duties
  • Experience responding calmly, quickly, and conclusively to unpredictable or unexpected events and changes
