Technical Product Owner - Data Products
Technical Product Owner - Data Products will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, gathering business requirements for digital advertising and data products, and translating technical requirements into organized stories and detailed acceptance criteria. They will initially work on the creation and enhancement of DFM’s and AdTaxi’s first data warehouse, focused on integrating numerous types of data into a central repository.
They will also be expected to sometimes work simultaneously on the creation of other data products, as well as gathering business requirements and writing stories for other data capture and collection projects. These may include customer journey and clickstream tagging, user experience and design data capture, and implementing testing for web and mobile features.
- Experienced in working with key stakeholders to gather requirements and writing technical stories for projects to create data products (such as data warehouses, apps, API's, etc.).
- Skilled at gathering, understanding, and translating complex, technical business requirements into well organized and structured stories and acceptance criteria.
- Skilled at translating complex technical business requirements between business stakeholders into stories for developers.
- Enthusiastic to interpret and document data workflows. Acute attention to detail and well organized documentation.
- Experienced with implementing testing for web and mobile features and building requirements to gather proper data for analysis.
- Experienced with gathering business requirements and writing stories for web and mobile clickstream tagging and user pixels. Able to build requirements for third-party products to track useful customer journeys and funnels.
- Experienced writing requirements and documentation for teams that develop, test, and implement data models.
- Experienced in digital advertising or eager to learn about this constantly evolving field.
- Able to create concise business cases to justify (ROI) investments and establish KPI’s to determine and evaluate performance for product.
- Able to establish and maintain strong cross-organizational partnerships both internally and externally with third-party vendors, partners and clients.
- Familiar with user experience design and optimization for web and mobile.
- Familiar leading projects that tag events and track clickstream and customer journey on web and mobile.
