Sr. Product Marketing Manager - TrainingPeaks
Reporting to the VP, Customer Team, the Sr. Product Marketing Manager is a key strategic leader in driving positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy for the TrainingPeaks’ Marketplace team. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and lead cross-functional stakeholders to develop marketing strategies that attract, engage, and delight customers. You will be responsible for deeply understanding our products and market in order to effectively communicate our value proposition and differentiation of our products and services.
Core Functions:
- Define and lead comprehensive go-to-market strategy and planning including positioning, communication of value proposition and launch strategies.
- Lead a group of cross-functional stakeholders that includes Digital Marketing, Content, Programs, and Creative experts to develop customer acquisition, conversion, and retention strategies.
- Identify optimization opportunities to continuously improve customer lifecycle engagement and drive growth strategies.
- Research market trends, collect and analyze feedback from customers, partners, stakeholders and other teams to shape our positioning and product messaging.
- Work closely with the Product Manager and UX to develop a deep understanding of new and existing customers including the buyer’s journey and personas.
- Collaborate with functional leaders to set marketing and resource budgets and improve team processes that support the Marketplace team strategies.
- Partner with the Product Manager to help shape and communicate the mission team roadmap in alignment with the company's vision.
Requirements
- 5+ years of product marketing experience in a SAAS environment.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and strategies across customer segments.
- Proven ability to take business concepts and turn them into business results.
- Strong leadership abilities. Self-motivated and goal oriented to drive growth while motivating others to do the same.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate mission strategies across the organization.
- Data-driven with the ability to tie team performance with tangible results.
- Understanding of Agile marketing principles, values, and process or has a strong desire to learn.
- Understanding of Design Thinking principles and processes or has a strong desire to learn.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing preferred.
- Experience and knowledge in the international endurance sports markets.

Peaksware/TrainingPeaks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $61,067 - $101,778. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus.
