Position Summary  

We are looking for a Sr. Product Manager to join our team to guide the delivery of products from conception to launch.   This role will focus on Blinker’s end-to-end Automotive eCommerce and digital origination solutions; working closely with internal teams (business stakeholders, designers, engineers, marketing, data, operations) and external resources (buyers, sellers, marketplace partners, 3rd party data providers).

The ideal candidate must enjoy problem solving both independently and in team settings and be willing to acquire any necessary technical and domain expertise.  Additionally, this resource must be highly motivated, extremely well organized, and possess excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Core Responsibilities and Capabilities                                     

• Work closely with marketplace partners, business stakeholders and other internal teams to synthesize user needs into product priorities, roadmap plans and detailed specifications
• Launch new products and features, test their performance and iterate quickly
• Own product performance by setting success metrics and monitoring them to inform future enhancements
• Gather feedback and lead discovery processes, including user research and prototyping
• Ensure clarity and visibility throughout the product development process and continuously keep the team informed and focused on the right priorities
• Provide leadership and expertise across the organization for defined product area
• Drive ongoing improvements and optimizations in the product development process

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Product Manager 
• Enthusiasm for agile principles and a flexible, iterative approach to product development
• Demonstrable understanding of the nuts and bolts of mobile app and web development, best practices, and design principles
• Ability to lead and influence teams in a cross functional, highly collaborative environment
• Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience
• Bias toward action, great collaborator, and master simplifier - constantly pushing toward product clarity and delivery

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in one or more of the following areas:  marketplace apps, eCommerce or Automotive (Retail, Wholesale, Lending or Insurance)
