Paladina Health is seeking an energetic and accomplished Product Manager to join the team at our corporate headquarters in Downtown Denver! This individual will work in a fast-paced, start-up environment and play an integral role, driving customer value and delight by shaping the vision, roadmap, and capabilities for our healthcare services offering. 

As a Product Manager you will lead all aspects of the product development cycle as we look to extend our services and capabilities, including product definition, market-testing, financial modeling, buy-build-partner analysis and go-to-market planning.  To be successful in the role, you need a “get things done” mindset with the ability to scope and prioritize activities based on dynamic business and customer needs.  You need to balance product and project management, with business strategy and ongoing feedback from our patients, clients and care teams to define and refine use cases, plan and communicate product objectives, move effectively through decisions, and ensure everything stays on track.   Type of products enhancements could include additional services such as behavioral, wellness or PT/OT as well as additional patient facing tools and Digital Health.

The ideal candidate has a passion for improving healthcare and a proven ability to see the big picture and potential for any new product, feature, or project initiative.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Market Intelligence –Synthesize data of multiple types (quantitative and qualitative) and sources to produce consumer and market insights to drive product strategy (product, price, placement), sales and marketing strategy, innovation, and growth initiatives. Conduct market and user research to understand needs and personas of patient and provider users

Business Case Development – develops business case assessing incremental services or capabilities to fold into the Paladina offering.  The business cases will be supported by market intelligence, recommending operational changes, directing network development, prioritizing product investments into product backlog, and guiding build/buy/partner decisions.

Product Development– Drive the product roadmap by scoping and prioritizing product initiatives with input from customers, prospects, advisory teams and internal care team experts. Work closely with sales, marketing, IT and operation teams to understand strategic implications and operational requirements associated with new opportunities and initiatives. Lead cross-functional teams as product/ project manager to define product specifications, establish milestones, and manage quality assurance activities. Determine specifications, product timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction.  Oversee the development of new features for Paladina products, reducing high-level ideas to detailed designs and requirements, partnering with IT/operations teams to develop, validating via ongoing engagement of users and buyers in an agile development process. Partner with key stakeholders to ideate, prioritize, and deliver great capabilities for our customers. Serve as business lead and subject matter expert for implementation of product opportunities and growth strategies

Product Commercialization – partners with Sales, Account Management, and Implementation Teams to introduce, market and sell the Paladina products including the strategy for product pricing, selling and marketing our products through multiple channels.

Product Performance – reviews and optimizes product performance by measuring and analyzing of key outcome metrics during product pilots and general usage, leads Paladina-wide process for governing decisions regarding Paladina products.  Define success metrics for new projects and track daily conversion / funnel metrics for existing products to ensure that all projects and existing functionality are moving towards our defined goals

ABOUT YOU:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a top-tier institution
  • Master’s Degree preferred; in business management or health care management

Experience:

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience, preferably in a in a healthcare services, wellness, or disease management company. At least 5 years of experience in a product management role
  • Experience in a services business with both a B2B as well as a B2B2C client base
  • Experience in customer presentations
  • Experience launching new strategies or products in the health care space
  • Experience in a fast paced, start-up environment
  • Track record of using data to drive decision making, create compelling business cases, and report on success metrics
  • Project management experience with responsibility to ensure that multiple projects are completed in an appropriate and timely manner
  • Experience with agile methodologies and project tracking-collaboration software (e.g. JIRA)

  • Ability to formulate product marketing business plans, competitive analysis and product requirements documents
  • Ability to effectively deal with moderate levels of ambiguity, cope with risk and uncertainty, and make decisions without having the total picture
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills -- can comfortably articulate findings and recommendations, addressing both business and operational concerns
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence and mobilize colleagues at all levels of the organization without having direct management authority
  • Excellent communication skills; being able to communicate efficiently both strategic vision and specific details to various stakeholders, from senior leadership to team members and customers. Ability to write clear and concise product requirements, status updates and product results.
