Second Phase, LLC is currently looking for a Software Training Specialist. In this role the emphasis will be on strengthening customer capabilities to utilize the features and functionality of our software solution. This individual will be responsible for presenting webinar training sessions, and writing supporting materials for our customers and internal stakeholders.

TheSoftware Training Specialist must demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills. They must have the ability to assess the audience and tailor complex technical material to different types of learners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write training content and create PowerPoint slides, audio, and other training materials.
  • Identify learners’ needs and define training objectives tailored to the clients’ experience.
  • Develop and maintain a database of technical documentation, trainings, troubleshooting, and issue resolution information as new features are introduced.
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, such as sales, product development and project managers to create meaningful product training for employees and customers.
  • Assist with helping clients prepare data for conversion.
  • Assist Support Team with providing client (helpdesk) support as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of similarly related experience in planning and delivering effective technical software training programs.
  • Outstanding customer service, training delivery, presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to alter delivery style as client requirements dictate.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction.
  • Capability to explain solutions in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • ERP systems and B2B eCommerce knowledge desirable.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, Javascript desirable.
  • Previous experience creating, leading and improving product training programs
  • Proven ability to plan and prioritize multiple training initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong presentation and public-speaking skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to communicate in groups or one-on-one settings.
