SAFe Strategic Advisor
Overview of position:
This is an opportunity to join a successful America’s West team in a high growth organization driving change in the Global 2000 through our Enterprise and Partner channel.
In this influential role, you will be working alongside account managers in the America’s West region developing and leading specific success and growth strategies for their largest customers. You will be sharing your knowledge and experience of transformation in the Enterprise while being responsible for developing deeper relationships for all types of customers, giving them the tools, techniques, networks and strategy to create lasting change.
The role will include providing guidance and developing SAFe Enterprises and Partners, growing new opportunities with existing and new customers as a part of America’s West team, primarily focused on growing the existing customer base in that region.
The role will be based in North America, where many organizations are adopting SAFe, and the successful candidate will have the passion and drive to personally excel while helping these organizations succeed as they transform.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work with Lean-Agile Centers of Excellence (LACEs), Change Agents, Leaders and Senior Executives within SAI’s customer base to help them understand how to lead change in their organizations and why their role is critical for business agility to thrive
- Be an expert in SAFe’s advanced content to increase awareness, utility and impact with our customers
- Work with the America’s team to ensure our community of SAFe organizations are thriving, growing and renewing
- Develop ongoing campaigns with Partners and the Partner team as required to service Enterprise customers
- Work with and coach SAI partners to develop their SAFe transformation capabilities
- Initiate, develop and grow C-level and senior relationships within target client organizations
- Support agile and industry events, meetups and conferences for increased SAFe brand awareness through networking and occasionally speaking
Skills and experience that are important for the role:
- 7+ years experience of Agile, system development, product management, or product owner experience
- Current SAFe SPCT certification or candidate. Or a current SPC and willingness to become an SPCT. SAFe knowledge is critical
- Must have worked with complex organizations in the past as part of an Agile transformation
- Experience developing and leading agile consulting practices
- Action-oriented, entrepreneurial spirit, strategy-driven and collaborative personality with passion, integrity and a positive attitude
- Can demonstrate the ability to identify opportunities and grow business in emerging Enterprises/Markets
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills and the ability to customize key messages for specific target audiences
- Worked within both Enterprise and Partner/Consultancy context
- Talent for interacting with people at all levels and cultures.
- Fluent English
- Spanish language skills will be an advantage
Where you’ll be working: Although preference will be given to candidates in Metro Denver / Boulder, we are open to candidates working remotely from other Western U.S. locations.
