Envysion, a leading provider of video-based SaaS technology solutions for retailers, including fast casual restaurants, convenience stores wireless dealers, is seeking a Product Owner. In this role you will represent the customer inside the development team. You will be integral to ensuring that we are creating value for our customers with every shipped release. We're looking for a product owner who thrives in a high growth, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities will include:

• Partner with the product management team to understand the context behind larger projects in order to effectively frame and communicate the vision to other teams
• Create user stories to effectively communicate the user problem to be solved
• Sketch or create lightweight wireframes and user flows
• Represent the stakeholders at grooming and design sessions to ensure stories deliver the required functionality
• Maintain a backlog that includes enough user stories (and defects) that are understood, right-sized, and prioritized
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions in order to deliver a cohesive set of stories that creates value for customers.
• Be an available resource for developers and QA to make clarifications throughout the development cycle
• Verify and accept stories meeting the Definition of Done criteria
• Participate in risk and data-based go/no-go decisions
• Internally communicating release notes
• Be the go-to internal resource for how product components work - what they can do, cannot do, and impending changes
• Supporting launch activities including trainings and documentation

 Competencies and skills:

• Demonstrated skills in translating user pain points into user stories that development teams can rally around
• In-depth understanding of Agile methodologies
• An aptitude to conceptually understand technical details
• Accurate and precise attention to detail
• Must be solution and team oriented with the ability to collaborate, build credibility and trust, and influence others
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathetic, and can facilitate a meeting of minds with cross-functional stakeholders
• Strong analytics skills and demonstrated ability for second-order thinking
• Self-motivated, able to proactively work toward goals independently

 Education/Experience

• 2+ years of relevant experience working with SaaS solutions, bonus for experience working with hardware-enabled SaaS solutions

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience will be considered in lieu of formal degree
