Overview of the role:

As our B2B Marketer  you will be responsible for creating content and tools to promote our B2B software products to existing and prospective customers. You’ll provide our sales and marketing squad with compelling content that describes the value of our products to the market.

Reporting to our Director, Product on the Product Development squad, you will work across all departments to make Simple Energy a well known name in the industry.  If you have a creative mind and the desire to push yourself to help market and sell our products from the inside out, this is a great job for you!

What you will be doing:

  • Sales enablement content generation
    • Review Simple Energy’s current product portfolio and create a library of effective and motivating Sales Enablement content for our products
    • Communicate the value proposition of our products to the sales team and develop amazing  tools to support the selling process
    • Create sales content that dives deep into our product offerings that will create and drive demand for our products
    • Collect customer testimonials and case studies
    • Create impactful visualizations that show the various value drivers of our products
  • Product launch support
    • Contribute in development of go-to-market strategy
    • Manage launch schedule for a cross-functional team
    • Generate Outbound launch messaging and content support
    • Generate product sales  training content and deliver it to the sales squad
  • Demand generation and sales support
    • Develop and implementing a social media strategy
    • Analyze and report on content marketing metrics
    • Website content development and management
    • Generate content to support our RFP responses
  • Product Management Research Support
    • Research competitors market positioning and provide recommendations to the broader team
    • Conduct research on competitor strategies and tactics
    • Gather feedback from our customers and synthesize into findings and recommendations

About you:

  • At least three years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Experience writing for a B2B audience about SaaS and/or technology-related products
  • Solid understanding of search engine optimization techniques
  • Demonstrable experience writing for various marketing channels, including web and social
  • Experience interviewing subject-matter experts and executives to create content
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using WordPress and social media monitoring platforms a plus
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • 3 years experience as a Marketing Associate or similar role.
  • Ability to adapt to change within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multi-task, provide persistent follow-up and prioritize competing deadlines
  • Team player (ability to work toward a common goal across all departments and levels)

  • Self-starter and self-accountable
  • Creative problem solving skills.
