About the team:

VIZIO’s Vision Labs team is seeking a technical product lead to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on emerging and cutting-edge technology and progress in the future of television and other smart home devices.

 

What you will do:

  • Explore, define, and manage novel technical solutions to intractable business and product problems.
  • Manage product roadmap, milestones, resources, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Define product features and requirements. Drive productization process and work closely with, Engineering, Data Science, QA, Client Services, and Operations teams.
  • Guide new inventions from exploration to proof of concept to productization.
  • Get feedback from stakeholders, including Engineering, Business Development, and Customer Success. Strong collaborative skills is a must
  • Perform in-depth analysis of products and use quantitative insight to drive improvements in both quality and design
  • Design KPIs and create dashboards, track performance on a daily basis, investigate unforeseen changes to KPIs
  • Communicate effectively by preparing and presenting decks to various stakeholders. Ability to effectively communicate technical feedback to a diverse group of stakeholders including customers

 

 

About you:

  • You have a BS or graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Engineering or Computer Science preferred
  • You have 4+ years of related Product Management work experience.
  • You have some experience in either consumer electronics, Ad Tech, or the TV/cable industry
  • You have strong analytical skills and experience with high-tech products
  • You have excellent communications skills and are able to document requirements and work collaboratively
  • You have excellent organizational skills and are able to keep communications, timelines, and resources organized
  • You are a self-starter independent thinker that thrives on open problems in a fast-paced environment
  • You are a hard-working team player, with a “no task is too small” attitude and a willingness to get your hands dirty
  • You are a creative problem-solver with good intuition who nonetheless digs into root causes analytically
  • You have strong self-management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects and cross-functional stakeholders simultaneously to drive outcomes within often tight deadlines or quick turnaround times
  • You possess high attention to detail. You ask “why” and “how” instead of just “what”
  • You love building things! You love the challenge of translating a real-world business problem into highly technical product offerings and seeing it take flight
