Product Manager, HR

As part of the KPA Product Team, you will be part of a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, energetic, and high performing team. You will work across the entire product development life cycle to drive the vision and delivery of new products and features into the marketplace. You understand what the customer needs and know how to translate those criteria to a technical development team. You are invigorated by change and are excited about being a key participant in developing the business requirements for our current products as well as for a highly anticipated re-platform project of our Saas based products. You are driven by curiosity and enjoy learning about trends in the marketplace and are able to use your research to analyze competitive intelligence as well make recommendations for new feature development. You will utilize your aptitude for analytics to perform detailed requirement analysis, document processes, perform user acceptance testing and present product demos.
Key Responsibilities will include
• Determine customers' needs and desires by conducting market and customer research.
• Show deep understanding of technical and industry trends and their impact on product future.
• Establish close partnership with the HR Products product owner, solutions delivery and product marketing team members to ensure successful releases for assigned products.
• Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product offerings to competitors.
• Clearly articulate and document business requirements and acceptance criteria for defect resolution and new feature development.
• Monitor product performance and overall customer satisfaction.
• Manage ongoing relationships with product vendors with the goal of leveraging vendor expertise and maximizing product performance.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing
• Query and analyze data to drive key product decisions and design successful solutions.
• Work with integration partners and other external parties to develop software and data integrations.
• Conduct meetings to share ideas and findings and gain acceptance of market and business requirements.
• Conduct product demos to operations to ensure effective roll out of customer support to our clients.
Requirements
• BS degree in Business, Computer Science/Computer Information Systems, Marketing or equivalent;
• Experience with web platforms built with HTML, Java Script, jQuery.
• Previous experience with Payroll, HRIS, Applicant Tracking software or Human Capital Management software
• Demonstrate superior persuasion and influencing skills that ensure alignment between customer, product owner, and engineering team
• Creative and passionate about cutting edge technologies and continuous personal and team improvement
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing deadlines and priorities.
