Your Role at Visible

 

At Visible, we don’t believe in brick and mortar. As a digital optimization and product manager, you’re a results-driven web optimization expert to improve the effectiveness of our website and mobile application in driving customer acquisition and sales. As the web optimization lead, your primary role is to identify key opportunities (via sales performance trends and digital analytics reports), and help design and measure experiments that will materially improve the performance of the website. You must have a deep understanding of web experimentation methodology and a strong aptitude for data and analytics. You will drive tests from start to finish, working closely with visual UX designers, copywriters, marketing/sales ops, analytics and web developers to execute experiments. You are able to not only think strategically and provide business leadership, but also to manage every detail of the execution to ensure a successful outcome. The program needs to be run as a P&L to demonstrate impact.

 

This is a full-time position based in Denver, CO and will report to the Sr. eCommerce Product Manager. 

 

What you’ll do

 

  • Define and document web and page optimization best practices and driving those back to creative in an ongoing loop. Leverage analytics, sales data and digital behaviors to drive an agile feedback/testing model to drive more results.

  • Analyze web and mobile data to identify relevant digital audiences.

  • Develop and execute testing strategies to optimize high value engagements, lead generation, CTAs, and conversions on web and mobile app.

  • Develop a thorough knowledge of our business and product portfolio. Lead the presentation of test results and insights to ensure clear and concise communication of recommendations and the impact of new ideas and functionality online.

  • Work with design, product and engineering teams to effectively write and groom user stories that continuously enhance our analytics and tagging platforms in support of new product features.

  • Interface with Marketing and agency vendors to support paid media, SEM, and other marketing campaign tracking implementation and monitoring.

  • Define success metrics and use data to drive decision making, track performance, and iteratively improve the customer experience

  • Leverage various research methods such as web analysis, usability research, etc. to identify opportunities to improve the site experience, task completion and funnel conversion.

  • Stay current with competitors and emerging technologies. 

 

Who you are

  • You’re going to be responsible for improving digital experiences, so you must have worked in a product team focusing on web and/or mobile applications. 

  • You have demonstrated record of success leading site testing programs. 

  • You can weigh competing priorities, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with stakeholders, driving to consensus while maintaining a clear focus on overarching business priorities.

  • You live and breathe data; both web and sales.

  • You thrive in a startup environment: loves dealing with fast pace, changing needs, and limited resources

  • You can go get the data you need and can whip it into an insightful story with no help. 

  • You have an eye for compelling design, and love interacting with content creatives and backend engineers alike.

  • You are always willing to dive in with a no-task-is-too-small attitude.

 

What You Bring to Visible (a.k.a. qualifications)

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics or a related technical field. 

  • 3-5 years professional work experience in a web analytics, conversion rate optimization and personalization programs.

  • Proven ability to analyze online behavior, vision the future state, test hypotheses, and synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable strategies and tactical plans.

  • Strong understanding of website standards, usability, site design preferred.

  • Experience setting up user testing, conducting tests, analyzing data, and sharing results / insights.

  • Strong research and analytical mindset. High energy, driven, and detail oriented.

  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills at all levels within an organization.

  • Demonstrated ability presenting analytical and statistical content to non-technical audiences.

  • Combination of scrappy entrepreneurial vigor and large scale systems thinking.
