Platform/Product Manager
Encore Access seeks a Platform Manager to direct the on-going development of its internal operational software systems. This position reports to the CTO and is responsible for working with business stakeholders to analyze needs, determine appropriate solutions to improve efficiencies and provide requirements and direction to the platform’s development roadmap.
As Platform Manager, you will leverage your operations and workflow experience to drive the long-term evolution of our internal platform. Your ability to work with the business team to recognize opportunities for increased efficiency will be critical to success in this role. Because this role manages both the current operational platform and its future roadmap, strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical staff is critical. In this role, your customers are your colleagues — you’ll see the benefits of your work immediately and collaborate closely with teams across the company for feedback and continuous improvements.
Required Skills:
A background working with business stakeholders to analyze workflow inefficiencies and with helping to design and prioritize solutions that address them
Experience in turning business needs into solutions and communicating the requirements for those solutions to developers and designers— through user stories, personas, wireframes, and storyboards
Demonstrated ability to manage the roadmap for a software product/platform, especially one involving multiple APIs, services, and data sources
Extremely strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills (written/spoken)
A proven track record in a remote working environment and with geographically distributed teams
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Microsoft technologies, including .NET development projects
Ability to write SQL queries for occasional platform analysis/research
Experience working in a data-driven environment, with a desire to track and manage to key metrics and communicate findings to peers and management
Experience with technical troubleshooting for investigation/diagnosis of bug reports
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira/Confluence, Trello, and Tableau
Encore Access is a fully remote company, with team members working in multiple US states, as well as South America and Eastern Europe. The company will provide a computer and necessary hardware; however, you must have a suitable environment for working remotely and meeting regularly with colleagues using video calls.
