We're currently looking for a creative and analytical site merchandiser who can help lead our transformation into a premier subscription service that brings actionable inspiration and enriching entertainment to our extraordinary customer community through flawlessly integrated content and physical products. As Craftsy's Director of Site Merchandising, you’ll lead a team of merchandisers to bring our digital and physical products to life on site for current and future customers in a differentiated way. You’ll collaborate closely with our Category and Product Managers and our Editorial and Marketing teams to create a seamless and frictionless experience across all customer journeys. You’ll also play a critical role in our exponential growth by identifying and integrating technology solutions that allow us to scale efficiently into new categories, product lines, site experiences and customer journeys.
Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective management and extraordinary leadership to a team of site merchandisers, ensuring that that they flawlessly execute our customer experience strategies with visual and textual communication and inspiration.
  • Architect and drive the strategy for a rich, integrated content and commerce experience for both our subscribers and shoppers.
  • Develop and lead execution of the merchandising and customer engagement vision and strategy for our site real estate – including category pages, landing pages, product pages, and other environments built by our Product teams with your input – for organic, customer-directed exploration, curated editorial story paths, and marketing campaigns.
  • Create our merchandising technology strategy, recommending and securing investment approvals for the tools and services that will automate, e.g., manual internal tasks, new engagement path creation, discovery of customer demand for expanded product offerings, enhanced personalization, etc.
  • Work closely with the Marketing and Editorial teams to create our editorial and promotional calendars, then taking full responsibility and accountability for bringing those calendars to life on site.
  • Also work closely with our category teams to develop and execute our “evergreen” content and commerce experience strategies, including continual expansion of non-seasonal engagement paths (think on-ramps and rabbit holes for self-directed exploration) and support for new categories and product lines.
  • Own all site metrics and performance, including but not limited to conversion, engagement, repeat visits, etc., and their contribution to company revenue, through the constant analysis and reporting of data via Google Analytics and other tools.

Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 6+ years of online site merchandising expertise.
Eligibility Requirements
• Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be considered.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice as needed.
• Must be willing to work in Denver, CO.
