About the Role

As the Product Director of Revenue Cycle Management solutions, you will align the RCM product strategy with the current business strategy while maintaining a strong eye towards the dynamic nature of the healthcare environment. This includes managing and growing the appropriate Product team, and working cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Marketing, Account Management and other teams to grow OrthoFi’s eligibility and revenue cycle management offerings. You will work directly with both prospective and existing orthodontic practices to develop, delivery and improve our solution.  

The ideal candidate will have experience leading a successful tech-enabled service team (preferably RCM, but RCM experience is not required), and extremely strong understanding of one’s own weaknesses and how to fill those gaps. You must thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem-solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This is a leadership role within the product organization, and will report directly to the VP of Product.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide Visionary Energy: Be the thought leader that defines the vision for the RCM product suite within OrthoFi in partnership with Engineering and Operations.

  • Champion Product:  Enthusiastically help your team hone their craft of product management.  Encourage sharing of new techniques and tools, showcase best of breed experiences in the market, invest in professional development, and provide regularly and timely critique of new product themes and features.  

  • Grow & Manage People:  Identify, hire and engage talented, customer-centric team members.  Provide regular, frequent, constructive and direct feedback to help employees excel and their job and their craft, navigate their desired career path.  Conduct product retrospectives to constantly learn and improve your team.

  • Motivate:  Set challenging team goals and demonstrate persistence and motivation to achieve high levels of success.

  • Plan and Prioritize:  Organize product team members, set realistic timelines, and set the direction and priorities across the products within the RCM portfolio.

  • Exhibit Sound Judgement:  Make timely and data-driven decisions.

  • Manage Change: Manage change through transparency and effective communication.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Information Technology.  An equivalent combination of education and work experience may be taken into consideration in lieu of a degree.

  • 8-10 years of relevant product leadership experience with focus on software products and technologies that drive the delivery of services to customers.

  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends.

  • Polished communication skills including ability to deliver persuasive presentations to senior executives, partners and customer stakeholders.

  • Excellent critical thinking skills to make good decisions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration or Engineering is preferred.

  • Experience in the healthcare service and/or technology industry, particularly focused on cost solutions, revenue capture, patient access, claims management, patient collections and/or cost containment.
