Job Duties and Responsibilities
DISH Wireless seeks a Principal Product Manager to spearhead the development, launch, and management of new products and services within our portfolio. This role involves leveraging data-driven insights to understand the US market, competitive landscape, and customer demand drivers. You'll develop business cases, oversee product conception to market launch, and ensure a top-tier customer experience. Operating at the nexus of technology and business, you'll dive into the details while keeping customer value and experience at the forefront.
In this role, you will:

  • Understand market needs, competitive landscape, and Dish's product positioning.
  • Set product priorities and time-to-market goals in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Engage with technical teams to develop necessary functionality across systems.
  • Define and deliver Minimum Viable Product through prioritization and timeline management.
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for value proposition and differentiation.
  • Collaborate effectively and advocate for action.
  • Demonstrate expertise in wireless product solutions, industry trends, and technology.


Skills, Experience and Requirements
As a successful Principal Enterprise Product Manager, you will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, MBA, or equivalent practical experience
  • Over 10 years of product management experience in wireless or internet services
  • Proven expertise in the US enterprise networking market, with previous roles in networking equipment or service providers
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the US wireless market, including carrier perspectives and wireless device software
  • Proficiency in product discovery and validation methods, such as customer journey mapping and prototyping
  • Desired familiarity with emerging security principles in wireless and IT environments.


Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $208,725.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Pathan oversees the architecture direction, best practices and engineering deliverables at DISH Technologies (DT). As the engineering arm for DISH, the DT team works on technologies such as blockchain, streaming, hardware engineering and immersive media experiences for DISH’s PayTV services. “The most exciting aspect at DT is the ability to create impactful contributions for the industry by developing web-scale applications and differentiated experiences,” Pathan said. “Each team member is regularly encouraged to work on innovative ideas and technologies, patenting them in the process.”
