TITLE: Principal Engineer I
LOCATION: Greenwood Village, CO
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for testing, validating, and triaging all SCP services, including Firmware, Plume, SCPS, WIN, CUJO, client devices, OEM, etc. Design, create, read, update, and enhance testcases and test practices for all aspects of project services under test. Work with development and architecture teams to review planned and current designs for service implementation. Develop methods of procedures (MOPS) for deployment steps between environments. Monitor status of performed testing and review for accuracy. Produce reports to be delivered to stakeholders for progress tracking and issue encountered. Work with DevOps and automation teams to assist with scripting issues. Communicate architectural solutions with developers and validation solutions for SCP teams. Provide technical knowledge to junior team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in testing practices. Work with development teams in performing root cause analysis. Work with production operations to provide guidance, technical support, and proper procedures. Review test cases for accuracy in steps and results Provide feedback on testing scope, metrics, and practices. A hybrid (office and remote) arrangement is available. The Principal Engineer I provides technical leadership within a team but does not supervise the members of the team.
EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5 years of experience working with Network Protocols. 4 years of experience working with Development Operations to integrate, automate or create solutions to deliver or test high quality solutions, as well as developing methods of procedures (MOPS) for deployment steps between environments. 3 years of experience developing software using SQL and NonSQL databases. 2 years of experience working in Quality Assurance to perform defect creation and tracking, reviewing accuracy of results and working with architects to ensure implementation of services is compliant. A hybrid (office and remote) arrangement is available.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $128,398 to $178,600. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
