Responsible for engineering activities that maintain and enhance the company's telecommunications and signal processing hardware, software and electrical systems. Works with technical operations staff on system design and configuration. Works with design teams and advises team leaders
- Install and Administer VMware ESXi and Vcenter.
- Creates virtual machines and VM templates.
- Performing action on advanced features of ESX/ESXi 7/8, Migrations, HA, DRS SDRS and Cluster.
- Expert knowledge on configuration and troubleshooting-vSphere and Storage replication.
- Expert in setting up HA/DRS and troubleshooting.
- Expert in command line experience with ESXi and VCSA.
- Analyzing the Nutanix,vCenter,ESXi and VM's Logs to find root cause.
- Expert in VRA and VROPS
- Knowledge of networking components and concepts.(VXLAN, NSX, VLAN's. routing, etc)
- Advanced hands on experience with data center hardware (Dell and Nutanix) and enterprise storage subsystems. Fiber channel and iSCSI (Pure Storage, EMC)
- Advanced hands on with Nutanix hardware, both Super Micro and Dell, and software including AHV and Prism.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud and datacenter components.
- Implement automation tools and methodologies to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Windows and Linux server administration.
- Implement robust security measures and compliance standards across cloud and datacenter environments.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering support, advice and guidance.
- Communicate effectively to address client concerns, provide updates and manage expectations.
- Architecture experience in large VM environments with Hyperconverged Infrastructure and NSX Distributed Firewalls
- 5-7 years supporting/developing VMware solutions and environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent project management skills focused on outcome based results
- Expert knowledge of VMware Enterprise components and technologies such as vSphere, SRM, vSAN, VRA, VROPS
- Hands-on experience with VMware automated tools such as PowerCLI, vCO
- Expert knowledge of the enterprise storage subsystems (EMC/SAN, iSCSI/PureStorage)
- Strong working knowledge of networking technology (i.e. function of TCP/IP) subnetting and routing.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory
- Good working knowledge of industry and hyper-converged hardware (e.g. Client/Dell/Nutanix)
- Service oriented, positive, committed and enthusiastic team player
- Working knowledge of OS security best practices and configuring/managing/updating large groups of servers
- Hands on experience with Nutanix infrastructure both hardware and software
Education:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience

The pay for this position has a salary range of
$100,600.00 to $196,400.00. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
