JOB SCOPE
Operations engineering support role within our Video session based technology team. Primary technologies include Switched Digital Video and Video on Demand.

The pay for this position has a minimum of $73,100.00. The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
Operations engineering support role within our Video session based technology team. Primary technologies include Switched Digital Video and Video on Demand.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Test, evaluate, configure, and deploy Switched Digital Video back offices and edge QAMs, including Access Networks, CMTS systems and IPv4 and IPv6 core network.
- Support session bases technologies such as SDV/VOD QAM sharing in a CCAP environment.
- Participate in system integration solutions and prepare Systems Integration and Test certification reports, generating test reports, MOPs and bug reports.
- Work within a team to deploy network protocols including TCP/IP, UDP, and VLANs. Utilize design lab system environment to validate test plans and configurations before service deployment.
- Ensure all technical integration, changes, standards and documentation are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in System Administration and support of various hardware, VMWare, Linux / Windows, and database technologies
- Understanding of and / or working experience with multiple automations technologies
- Scripting & Development tools (Shell Script, Python, Chef, GIT)
- Ansible (Redhat)
- VMWare
- Kubernetes and / or Containerization
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to operate independently with occasional oversite.
- Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
- Cable / Telecommunication industry experience
- Industry and vendor specific certifications and training (NCTI, SCTE, BCT/E)
