Overview:
Alteryx is rapidly expanding with customers in over 90 countries. We are the only public company in Leader quadrant in Gartner’s Data Science and Machine Learning MQ and our analytics platform is rapidly being adopted across unlimited verticals and departments. Alteryx is looking for a passionate, analytics-savvy Industry Marketing Leader to work closely with our Product, Marketing and Sales leaders to drive the strategy, development and execution of our go-to-market Industry solutions. This role will be both a player and coach as you explain, evangelize and grow a team of evangelists responsible for the creation and ownership of vertical and functional related marketing content. We want to see your portfolio that includes impactful product-solution messaging, easy to adopt sales tools, and break-through marketing assets. Reporting to the CMO, you will help us develop a killer GTM plan and be a major voice internally and externally. Responsibilities:
* Partner with Product Marketing Leader to develop differentiated, persona-sensitive positioning and messaging for Alteryx products, platform, and solutions – per identified and targeted verticals and associated departments.
* Understand buyer personas, especially in targeted verticals and departments, and be able to articulate and apply across marketing content/campaigns as well as sales tools.
* Help create and understand vertical use cases to illustrate the value delivered to our customers – across targeted verticals
* Work across all functions and teams within the Alteryx organization including Product, Sales, Customer Success and Marketing to ensure successful delivery of the right content and programs.
* Understand the data analytics competitive landscape in order to accurately position & differentiate Alteryx against various competitors, across multiple verticals.
* Be our product spokesperson and evangelist for vertical markets; support a wide range of thought leadership and speaking opportunities across internal and external events, articles and business functions.
* Work closely with the Content Marketing team to develop compelling, emotive content to fuel marketing programs.
* Contribute to Sales Enablement - helping communicate the value proposition to sales teams and developing the needed sales tools to support the sales cycle and motions (i.e. sales playbook).
* Ensure Sales and Demand Gen teams have a continuous flow of content that delivers goals

Qualifications:
* 10 years of B2B software or SaaS product marketing experience – strategic thinker with successful hands-on execution. Experience marketing data science and analytics platforms.
* Experience influencing industry analysts (i.e. Gartner, IDC) with positive outcomes on the Magic Quadrant etc.
* Ability to be an engaging and provocative expert speaker (media, events, webinars, sales meetings).
* Product marketing and vertical marketing experience required – with specific experience developing Industry strategy, i.e. healthcare, financial services, higher ed, manufacturing/supply chain, public sector, oil & gas, etc.
* Prior experience with enterprise software, including BI, analytics, or data-related products/services.
* Excellent problem solver with a curiosity to find a better solution.
* Demonstrated track record of working across multiple teams, improving the effectiveness of sales professionals and developing successful go-to-market strategies.
* Excellent oral/public speaking and written communication skills.
* Executive presence. A motivator who has experience building and recruiting strong teams.
* BS/BA degree required - Master’s degree optional.
* Must be willing to travel at least 30%.
