Sr. Director, Corporate Communications

We are currently seeking a Sr. Director of Corporate Communications working out of our Denver, CO office.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Public Relations
Social Media
- Creation of Convercent’s social media strategy to help Convercent connect to its customers and influencers
- Develop social media calendar
- Create strategy and plan for Convercent’s blog
- Maintain Convercent’s blog to ensure relevant content is posed
- Constantly monitoring social media and identify opportunities for Convercent to engage
- Creating appropriate content for posting in social media venues.
- Experiment with new social media technologies to increase the effectiveness of Convercent’s social media efforts
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years PR experience including B-to-B software.
- Expert ability in writing, and editing press releases, media collateral, award submissions and Convercent’s blogs.
- Proven experience in managing an external PR agency. Must understand how to track and audit agency performance, and provide ongoing guidance for maximum performance and ROI.
- Must have a passion for writing as all press releases will be written internally
- Must be well versed in social media, and a heavy user of social media channels. Experience in blogging required.
- Ability to lead internal and external teams, and provide cross-functional leadership.
- Experience with social measurement tools and platforms, e.g. Radian6, Scoutlabs, Klout.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at handling multiple concurrent projects.
