We are currently looking for a Social Media Video Specialist to join our Denver based team. As Social Media Video Specialist, you will report to the Director of Digital Content and will play an integral role in supporting PointsBet's continued growth and success, which we measure by growing follower bases, generating engagement on our content, and driving audience to interact with our best-in-class product..

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

• Collaborate with Social Team to execute results-driven Social Media Video Strategy
• Produce, light, shoot, direct & edit engaging videos across social platforms
• Work closely with assigned talent and independently to develop content ideas and manage productions
• Identify trends and conversations in the community to help create engaging content
• Manage and prioritize all video/editing projects autonomously, using time and resources efficiently
• Pitch, create, and execute short-form video and image-based content which does not require talent on camera
• Communicate and collaborate with the content, marketing, and partnerships teams
• Educate self and coordinate with trading team to understand unique, new, and important betting products (markets) being offered by PointsBet.
• Contribute to PointsBet content team across other platforms (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, etc.) as needed
• Implement best practices about thumbnails, captions, hashtags, video length and style

SKILLS WE SEEK

• Comfort and knowledge with sports content production and with sports betting
• Deep Knowledge of social media landscape and trends, sports, pop culture and current events
• Bachelor level degree or relevant work experience
• Experience working with on-camera talent, including in one-on-one production environments
• Desired 1+ years of experience in sports betting or iGaming roles with significant online volume
• Excellence in building original content and successfully distributing video on social media platforms
• Preferred experience on-camera fronting social media content
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency and speed using Adobe editing software
• Willingness to work nights and weekends, particularly during busy periods of the sports calendar
