Social Media & Content Coordinator
Description / Overview:
ManagedMethods is actively seeking a proven Social Media & Content Coordinator with 1 - 3 years of experience managing company/brand accounts for full-time employment. The Social Media & Content Coordinator must be comfortable planning, managing, and executing all areas required for high-converting social media marketing. He or she should also be able to maintain tight project deadlines, analyze data to drive decisions, and optimize content based on performance and goals. Responsibilities:
Manage content distributed through social channels (currently, LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, & YouTube), respond & moderate social interactions/conversations as necessary
Basic knowledge of design to create visually appealing social imagery
Grow ManagedMethods as a thought leader in social forums and online communities
Grow ManagedMethods’ social engagement and interactions
Increase website traffic and conversions from social media
Assist Director of Content Marketing with SEO backlinking strategy; helping to identify and contact influencers, media, & potential guest posting opportunities
Collaborate with Director of Content Marketing to create an editorial calendar to target communications and drive better engagement
Research and develop a Twitter chat calendar that allows ManagedMethods to grow as a thought leader and engage partners
Create and manage social influencer program; develop new connections and build out an influencer marketing plan
Lead the way in creating and promoting ManagedMethods’ video social content
Stay up to date on social trends and research
Provide bi-weekly and monthly reports of metrics: engagement/interactions, followers, sessions to the site, conversions etc.
Monitor the competition and develop suggestions for improvements based on this listening and capitalize on trends as they emerge
Understand specifics of product details (not at the level of product developers/coordinators, but enough to ensure all work provides clear, accurate and compliant information)
Educate & engage internal employees on social media
Requirements:
1 - 3 years proven company/brand social media experience; with a portfolio of work & stats
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with social scheduling/publishing/listening/analytics tools (we’re currently using Hootsuite, but not married to it)
Basic familiarity with Google Analytics
Passion for developing a career in social media and/or marketing
A sense of urgency & ability to work under tight deadlines
Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment
A “get it done” attitude
Extra Credit For:
Cybersecurity / tech startup industry experience
Graphic design and/or video marketing experience
Social advertising experience
SEO experience
