Social Media and Communications Intern
We're growing at double-digits month over month, and we're seeking a highly motivated and energetic Social Media and Communications Intern to help us continue to meet our growth objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the social media landscape, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn. You’ll be responsible for monitoring and posting on social networks, compiling weekly and monthly reports on activity/engagement, and contributing to the company blog and communications calendar. More importantly, you’ll be expected to increase our social engagement in a genuine and creative way.
We’re a young, fast-moving startup, so in order for you to be successful you must be not only willing, but eager to take on virtually any task as needed by other departments, from data entry, to graphic design, to answering phones, and more. No job can be too small or too big for you.

Requirements:
- In-depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics, and Facebook Insights.
- Superior written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative
- Hungry self-starter
- Ability to take and follow direction
- Must think strategically and take initiative
- Familiarity with HubSpot
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Work with the Communications Director to create and implement social media campaigns and other engaging content
- Contribute to and follow content calendar on a weekly and monthly basis
- Monitor analytics to identify new ideas and opportunities and create regular activity reports
- Monitor social media activity and respond to community engagement as needed
- Create all graphic design work as needed from various departments
- Provide support to our marketing team
- Data entry as needed
- Additional tasks as they come up with eagerness
Bonus Skills and Knowledge:
- Microsoft Excel
- PowerPoint and/or Keynote
- Video creation and editing
- Audio editing
- Interest in and knowledge of music business
Compensation: $12/hr with potential to increase based on performance
Hours: 25+/week with potential for more based on effectiveness and drive
Start date: ASAP
