Responsibilities

Tactic Strategy

  • Serves as the point of contact for social media tactical recommendations, strategy, and planning across assigned accounts
  • Strategic oversight, setup, creation and execution of paid social media campaigns across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram with other platforms  (YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest) as needed
  • Manage financial contracts with vendors and media partners (when applicable), manage campaign budgets and perform/supervise monthly invoicing

Client Leadership

  • Demonstrates a complete understanding of clients’ business, industry, and challenges
  • Ability to use campaign briefs to create a relevant target audience for campaigns
  • Aid client team in the development of paid media strategies for a diverse range of agency clients, including complex, global B2B and B2C 
  • Provides POVs on social media topics, client questions, and client opportunities
  • Collaborate with 90octane teams on cross-channel program strategy and with designers  and storytellers to ensure content is engaging and adheres to best practices

Cross-Channel Knowledge 

  • Interface directly with storytelling and design team to provide direction for the creation of visual and written assets
  • Advanced knowledge of marketing analytics and data to determine ideal budgets across channels and measure program effectiveness against KPIs and business outcomes
  • Works closely with other team members to evaluate all audience and media plan recommendations to ensure they meet & exceed clients' goals and objectives
  • Ability to be a point of contact for the various internal client teams as well as having a strong client presence during strategic planning and reporting

Program Knowledge 

  • Able to provide strategic recommendations specific to social media across a variety of program types such as lead generation, demand generation, account-based marketing, branding, advocacy, etc
  • Works closely with cross-channel media and other internal agency teams to build and recommend programs that will address clients’ business goals  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably in marketing, communications or business management
  • 3-5 years of experience in digital marketing and paid social media
  • Understanding of social advertising platforms and tools (Facebook Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, etc.)
  • Experience with retargeting, audience segmentation and lead generation
  • Ability to manage against aggressive timelines with the flexibility to rapidly shift priorities 
  • Knowledge of digital tactics (paid media, paid search) and how they work together
