What You'll Do
- Manage all email communication, including drip campaigns, transactional emails and weekly newsletters.
- Use marketing automation to create database segments and targeted and triggered messages based on customer preferences and actions.
- Understand how all aspects of the marketing program, from opt-in and message content and design, to delivery and list management, affect email deliverability.
- Measure results and optimize the lead nurturing workflows for these segments to convert leads into students.
- Grow our email list organically through list-building initiatives coordinated with our evangelists, social media, content teams.
- Prepare reports analyzing email campaign results, highlighting successes, trends and opportunities.
- Continually test and optimize through A/B and multivariate testing of subject lines, message content, images, offers, landing pages, message frequency, segmentation and more.
- Partner with internal teams to develop effective integrated cross-channel campaigns.
About You
- 3-5 years experience working in a consumer-focused, data-driven online marketing business, with a strong understanding of best practices throughout all facets of the customer funnel.
- A Lateral thinker who uses both art & science to test and leading the pack in trying and testing new things.
- Intimate knowledge of email marketing and marketing automation tools, database management, basic HTML / CSS, data analysis, and Google Analytics.
- Experience managing email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- A good story-teller, and know how to frame email content to drive a desired action.
- Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization.
