What You'll Do

Skupos is seeking a Product Marketing Manager (PMM) who will be part of a dynamic and collaborative effort to bring Fortune 100 technology to small businesses. Skupos has a fast-growing base of over 8,000 active users, as well as a vocal group of advocates in a technologically-underserved industry that powers 4% of the US economy and sees 50% of the US population purchase each day. This is a nitty gritty, dirt-under-the-fingernails industry that needs your help.

We are looking for the company’s first PMM, someone who can work across our developing product portfolio to build out and formalize our go-to-market (GTM) efforts for both new and existing products. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the product marketing function for a market-leading technology platform. The charter is to build product marketing as a strategic partner to product, marketing, sales, customer success, and the rest of the GTM organization in order to maximize our growth. The PMM role provides the opportunity to help to set Skupos vision, market leadership, value proposition, and differentiation. This includes demonstrating thought leadership, coordinating market messaging, and supporting collateral development.

What You'll Get To Do

  • Establishing the product marketing organization as a strategic partner to product, marketing, sales, customer success (CS), and the rest of the GTM organization in order to maximize our growth.
  • Working cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and our field functions to align product priorities and goals; developing, managing, and implementing an integrated strategy across multiple products, customer segments, and personas.
  • Supporting pilot, rollout, and national product launches to ensure all functions are launch ready and all launch aspects go smoothly.
  • Partnering with marketing, sales, and CS to deliver measurable business growth, including network and revenue growth, customer retention, and client satisfaction; working closely with the field to drive effective and consistent messaging of the product across the market.
  • Evangelizing products through thought leadership and communication to help internal and external stakeholders understand and evangelize Skupos technology.
  • Teaming up with content marketing to build a clear story across the market around the Skupos platform today and in the future.
  • Being excited about constant opportunities to learn, develop, and grow both personally and professionally in a challenging and dynamic environment!

What You Should Have

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 3+ years of Product Marketing/Management experience.
  • Track record in the creation and development of product strategy, market positioning, and brand messaging.
  • 5+ years of experience in fast-paced growth business, ideally in a B2B SaaS platform.
  • Demonstrated ability to take high level of initiative in a fluid and evolving environment, balancing both strategic and tactical responsibilities to plan and execute.
  • High integrity and excellent interpersonal skills; showing the ability to quickly build effective working relationships with others at all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strong business judgment, combining both creativity and flexibility.
  • Strong detail orientation and organization.
  • Comfortable with Google Business Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc) and MS Office.
  • Exposure to product/project management tools (Jira, Confluence) and marketing/sales automation tools (Marketo, Salesforce) a plus.
