The Product Marketing Manager, Sales Enablement role will be responsible for ensuring the global SendGrid Sales and Customer Success (CS) organization is equipped with the content assets, resources, training, and tools necessary to effectively differentiate and sell SendGrid solutions. You will be a critical liaison between Sales/CS and Marketing to ensure that our customer-facing team is not only equipped to sell on their own, but also able to leverage ongoing marketing campaigns, events, and demand generation efforts.

What You’ll Do

  • Create effective sales enablement content that makes it easier for the sales team to convey the value of SendGrid’s products and services
  • Co-own the strategy for enablement training and collaborate with Sales/CS leaders and presenters to deliver appropriate enablement, messaging, and competitive training
  • Drive continuous innovation across enablement strategies, creatively thinking of new ways to address the needs and gaps of the Sales/CS organization
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales/CS leaders, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to ensure alignment and prioritization of sales enablement activities
  • Use sales enablement activities to help amplify key internal and external events, such as new product releases and sales campaigns
  • You value and demonstrate empathy, humility, and honesty in your interactions with others.

About You

  • 2-5 years in B2B marketing, preferably in the software / internet space, with focus on enabling sales teams
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling content, stories and collateral that increase the effectiveness of sales professionals
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in both internal and external contexts
  • Demonstrated success in sales training or coaching salespeople of all levels
  • Experience developing process guides and/or training modules for consumption by a broad audience
  • Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking/market analysis/competitive analysis
  • Slide design skills and/or graphic design skills a plus (Google Slides, Keynote)
  • Skilled in building relationships and collaborating across stakeholders to inform and shape strategy
  • Able to work nimbly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a commitment to excellence and strong attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organizational skills required, with experience working closely with cross-functional team
  • BA/BA required
