Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager, reporting to the VP of Product Marketing, plays an important role in supporting the end-to-end product marketing at Welltok.  This role has responsibility for the development and production of engaging and impactful materials, presentations, and sales training that convey the value of Welltok solutions, products and services. Product Marketing works with our market solutions colleagues to articulate value based sales stories that help sales win business. We track competitive information and maintain sales enablement resources and tools.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of and passion for healthcare, including direct experience working health plans (payers) and/or community organizations that work to connect low-income and special needs consumers to community resources
  • Direct experience in the healthcare management and/or healthcare IT fields (SaaS a plus)
  • Particularly adept at quickly grasping and translating technical capabilities into benefits/value and messaging
  • Working knowledge of health and wellbeing IT solutions and/or healthcare consumer analytics and engagement
  • Experience creating and/or delivering sales training (live and distance-based)
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator who enjoys driving change in a fast-paced, thriving environment
  • Embraces ambiguity but insists on attention to detail and quality
  • Tireless, motivated, determined professional with integrity and good judgment

Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement: Develop and communicate the value proposition of products and services to sales and account relationship executives and marketplace buyers. Develop sales tools that support the end-to-end sales process. Develop and deliver content for sales training (face-to-face, webinar-based and/or eLearning). Manage marketing assets using sales enablement tool. Develop timely content, materials and training to support sales development needs.
  • Content & Messaging: Develop and maintain compelling positioning and messaging that differentiates our products/services/solutions in the market and resonates target markets. Develop and maintain messaging across products, services and solutions. Work closely with the marketing communications team to ensure consistent messaging to target audiences and markets (e.g. internal, clients, prospects, partners).
  • Product Launch: Lead the planning and execution to launch new offerings in market. Collaborate with market solutions and product management to define key benefits and differentiators and successfully position our offerings with target market segments.
  • Collateral Development & Management: Serve as the primary curator of sales and marketing collateral. Maintain inventory of market-facing materials across all markets in support of sales activities, product launches, proposal responses, etc. Administer sales enablement instance (Highspot) and ensure source of truth with SharePoint document storage.
  • Demand Generation: Partner with VP Product Marketing and Corp Marketing team to devise campaign strategy and themes, create compelling content, and guide marketing programs to drive demand for the company's offerings. Develop the messaging strategy needed by the marketing team to drive demand for products.

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Degree in marketing, communications, or business-related field or equivalent experience
  • 3-6 years of experience in product marketing, healthcare marketing or comparable role
  • Experience in healthcare is essential, preferably in a role supporting health plans (payers) and/or community-based organizations that directly support public and community health
  • Ability to quickly grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits
  • Strong editorial and writing skills in both long- and short-form content and comparable experience in producing marketing pieces in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep knowledge of and passion for the healthcare industry and a background selling technology-related products and services (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office with advanced skills in PowerPoint development
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across different teams and departments
  • Prior experience with instructional design and/or development of sales training (a plus)
  • Broad experience across a variety of marketing functions is a big plus
