Guild is hiring for a Performance Marketing Manager. This  is a newly created role, reporting to Carrie Kaufman (Director, Student Growth Marketing). This role will be critical to Guild’s effort to build & scale our paid media channels, allowing us to reach more potential students and motivate them to take advantage of their employer’s education benefits.

As Performance Marketing Manager you will:

  • Own the day-to-day campaign management across Guild’s paid social, search & display campaigns; inclusive of creative briefing, ad builds, and ongoing bid optimization
  • Collaborate with the content team to define the best messaging & creative approaches for ongoing ad optimization by audience
  • Work closely with product and analytics teams to ensure accurate conversion tracking of campaigns
  • Build ongoing reporting for campaign KPIs and share with key stakeholders
  • Help build the road map & recommendation for future paid channel expansions

In this role you will collaborate closely with: Haley Thomas (Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations), Christine Hettinger (Group Product Manager), and Sasha Harris (Associate Decision Scientist)

You are a strong fit for this role if you:

  • Have 5+ years experience managing performance marketing channels such as paid social, paid search or programmatic display
  • Enjoy balancing the “art” (brand voice & creative execution) with the “science” (reporting & ad optimization) of performance marketing campaigns
  • Are knowledgeable of the data integration needs that power our campaigns (3rd party pixel data & internal UTM reporting); bonus points for direct experience with tag management tools such as Segment and/or Google Tag Manager
  • Are a self-starter who is energized by the idea of building new channel opportunities for Guild from the ground up.
