Paid Media Manager
 

Position Description

The Paid Media Manager will work with the rest of the digital marketing team to develop and launch paid media campaigns that effectively and efficiently achieve Conga’s strategic business goals. This role is responsible for strategy, execution, optimization, and projections for anything from brand awareness to account-based advertising programs.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience managing programs in Google Adwords, Google Display Network, LinkedIn Ads, Microsoft ads and other related platforms as well as purchasing and negotiating insertion orders with direct buy vendors/partners/channels. You should be the type of person excited to dig into data and determine which campaigns are working. This role should be able to explain why and how to better optimize campaigns for the future. A background in B2B SaaS marketing and digital tactics is a huge plus.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute paid media strategy to support ongoing lifecycle programs and point-in-time demand generation campaigns.

  • Perform QA of campaign functionality, landing pages and lead-gen initiatives.

  • Collaborate with digital strategy leader on program strategy, optimization, and reporting.

  • Source, negotiate, contract insertion orders, manage programs, and optimize performance with direct buy media vendors

  • Own competitor analysis in paid media channels.

  • Own innovation in paid digital, in partnership with digital strategy leader. Take initiative to research new tactics and innovative ad platforms to extend campaign effectiveness.

  • Proactively and strategically run A/B testing of our overall media mix, focusing on effectiveness of the cross-channel strategy in driving business impact.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders, including marketing team members, cross-functional team members, agencies, and vendors

  • Understand persona intent and customer journey through the digital funnel and provide recommendations to align media channels, ad targeting, and optimize spend.

 

Experience, Skills and Competencies

  • 4 – 6 years working in a digital marketing role, preferably in B2B

  • 3+ years managing digital media campaigns and spend, including six figure budget responsibility

  • Experience with AdWords, Google Display Network, Microsoft Advertising, Retargeting and social media advertising (current certifications a plus)

  • Google analytics expertise (current certification a plus)

  • Understanding and basic competency in business intelligence tools (Google Data Studio / Power BI / Tableau / Salesforce reporting).

  • Working knowledge of marketing automation, e.g. Marketo, a plus

  • Ability to translate high-level business objectives into detailed digital strategies with budgets, allocations, projections, and action plans.

  • Knowledge of digital best practices surrounding data retention, cookie policies, CCPA and GDPR as plus

  • Passion for continual learning.

  • Consultant mindset, must be a subject matter expert that’s humble and willing to collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders
